My graco monitor has one red light and a row of

Try pairing the parent and nursery units again. First, turn off all of the units. Place the broken parent unit within 5 feet of the nursery unit. Turn on the parent unit. Turn on the nursery unit. Within a few seconds, the top 4 green LEDs should shut off. Then you'll hear a few beeps and the connection LED should turn from red to green. If this doesn't work, power off and try again using the AC adapters instead of battery power. I did it without plugging in the parent unit but the battery died as soon as the units paired up again. It's working fine from the docking station though.

Base unit appears to be working, but neither of

The units aren't paired. Call Graco at 800-345-4109 to have them walk you through pairing it. I'll try to explain what they just walked me through:

-Turn off all units. Make sure nursery and 1st parent unit is plugged directly into wall.
-Hold negative volume down on 1st parent unit. Keep holding it down.
-Press on button on 1st parent unit and let go.
-When you hear a beep, let go of negative volume button on 1st parent unit and then press it again.
-When you hear the second beep, let go of the negative volume button.
-If you have done it correctly, the 1st parent unit should have one red light at the bottom and the rest of the lights should be green.
-Turn on nursery unit and the 1st parent unit should pair with it.
-Repeat the above with the 2nd parent unit.

I have bought two graco

There should be different channel options (A, B, C or 1, 2, 3) Have one set on A or 1 and the other set on C or 3. That should reduce interference. Hope this helps :)

I just bought a second

When mine is red I check two things, that it's sitting flat in the charger and that all plug ins on all units are in snugly. The other thing is sometimes the main unit in the babys room is turned off so make sure the switch on the side is on. Hope it helps.

I have the imonitor? Video

Ok, please unplug everything, and turn it all OFF, collect everything to one place, by the TV. Now connect, the "Receiver" up to the TV again, ensure you have Yellow, to Yellow, Video, And, Audio, Red & White. Ensure you select, AV, or EXTERNAL Input. on the TV set. Now turn on the "Sender" unit and you should see a Picture. If all OK, now relocate to the room, required and you should still have a Picture, if not, maybe it is too far? or perhaps something is blocking the signal. But, if it does NOT receive any signal, at this close proximity, and you are sure it is all connected up correctly, then the only conclusion, that can now be reached, is that the unit, has somehow, gone faulty. I think, you need to return, for replacement, or repair.

Static interference problem

The Graco digital iMonitor scrambles the signal as it travels between the monitor and the receiver, making signals nearly impossible to be heard by others.

I had good experience with this product, it didn't suffer from the static noise problem.

Reception/range of monitor is inconsistent.

The best way to give your monitor additional power or distance, is to remove any and all things that would block the transmission of the signal.

If you have a window in the baby's room, and that window faces the backyard and shed, then move the monitor, or transceiver, to the window's sill, such that there is nothing blocking the signal but glass.

On the other end, in the shed, remove anything blocking the signal there, too. If you can find a way to build a shelf or increase the size of the window sill in the shed, such that you can place the monitor, or transceiver, on that extended size space, you now have a line-of-sight from the baby's room to the back shed.

This can give you more range.

In addition, there are devices from third party manufacturers, which will boost the signal. I am not sure whether you need to buy one of them or two, but that may be a solution as well. Check into that as a solution to your problem.

Good luck,
-a.
