Kenmore HE3t Frontloader Fills Up With Water After Cycle
Does this change if you select a cold wash or a hot wash? What's the water temperature feel like when it fills? I'd suspect the water control solenoid for either the hot or cold water isn't shutting off completely. This could possibly be due to a piece of debris or mineral deposit in its seat, and could be cleaned with CLR or citric acid if you remove it. They're not very expensive and not a very hard item to change on most machines.
Water continues to drip in after complete cycle
Check the solenoids at the water inlet valve. They can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid. I will attach a
photo for reference. A bad solenoid will permit water to leak through to the tub. Hope this helped and best wishes.
F DL Error Code
If you were already experiencing the F11 error code and now experiencing the Fdl error, this more than likely is a failure of the Main Control Board. F11 is a serial communications error associated with the Main Control Board, while the Fdl error is either a failed Main Control Board and/or door latch. You can replace the door latch first to see if the error goes away, but I would almost bet you have a control board problem since you were already experiencing an intermittent error code associated to it. Let me know if you have any further questions.
