On the side there is a video out socket ( sometimes marked AV out and yellow in color ). You will have to get an interconnecting cable to link it to your TV. The back of the TV will have corresponding yellow/red/white sockets. The yellow is for video and the red/white is for left/right audio. Your player comes with this cable along with the AC adapter .

Look for a special special connector that may or may not have come with your unit. It will be a Y connector with a plug in jack on one end and VGA (red, yellow, white) jacks on the other. Plug this end into an input on your tv.

Shut the DVD player down, move the switch, and turn it back on.

If it has the RCA (Red,White,Yellow) ports you will have to use those. In that case if you are using something like a DVD player that only has HDMI output you will need a special cable that goes from RCA to HDMI. Here is a quick link for you to reference.
