Notefolio app not showing in my TI89

Transfer it to the calculator, if you have not done so already. If it has been installed, it should show on the AppsDesktop. To explore the desktop, use the arrow keys. You can also deactivate the AppsDesktop ON on the last page of the MODE, to have a list displayed when you press the Apps key. Once you find the NoteFolio app, select it and press ENTER. Here is how you proceed afterwards. 408bfaec-f5c9-4089-a6b4-c7517055caee.jpg 783a1491-192e-4456-bff2-413dd673ed51.jpg 9788439a-9d78-49af-a872-fb15d9f964ef.jpg bde1a278-c998-42ac-be27-f852b8ceeff9.jpg 14189277-6c55-4b06-ac2e-7718cdb31b7b.jpg

How do you square on a ti 89 titanium

One way is to multiply the quantity by itself. Another is to raise it to the second power using ^ (just above the divide key). You can also take it's logarithm, double it, then take the antilog :-)

I tried to upgrade the OS from 1.07 to 2.09 on my

Sometimes you can just carry on as if no error message was seen and the OS downloader will upgrade the calculator anyway. I have had to use the old GraphLink software with the series gray cable to upgrade very old OS's. As a last resort, you may be able to delete the OS system entirely from the calculator (check on the Internet to see how to do that for your specific calculator) and use the TI Connect software with the silver USB cable to add the OS from scratch.

How do you change the interval for a arc cos

I'm not sure of the question, but to plot arccos set mode to: graph='function' and angle to 'degrees' (for example). Go to WINDOW and set xmin=-1, xmax=1, xscl=0.1, ymin=0, ymax=180, yscl=50, and xres=1. Press GRAPH. You will get a plot of arccos from -1 to 1.

Prime

You may simply apply the power rule for determining the first derivative. If y = a * x^b then y' = a * b * x^(b-1). In your case, a = 1, b = -1 you get: y = x^(-1) => y' = 1 * (-1) * x^(-1 - 1) = -x^(-2).

My ti 89 won't factor

The polynomial cannot be factored in the set of Real numbers: The roots of the polynomial equation are complex. You should use the command cFactor( found under F2:Algebra> A:Complex>2:cFactor( However, you should set the Mode Complex>Rectangular, and the EXACT/APPROXIMATE mode to Exact, otherwise your roots will be in decimal representation. 4687f911-03ab-4d90-a897-eb823579f5c3.png 879a3f3c-af19-4307-a672-94af95093d6c.png b8757842-df41-4d93-9d40-879354047b26.png
