Brother LS-2125 Mechanical Sewing Machine - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Cant get my bobbin in right position it keeps knotting up on inside of fabric
Top thread problem, Not enough tension on top=loops on the bottom of the fabric; too little tension on the bottom = loops on top of the fabric. Yes, I know it seems backwards. See:

Dollars to donut holes, you either threaded the top of the machine with the presser foot down (it has to be UP to let the thread into the top tension), or you're trying to sew with the presser foot still up (which is an issue common to people trying to sew bulky seams).
Take the thread off the top of the machine, take out the bobbin case and give the machine a cleaning, rethread the machine, fetch up the bobbin thread and hold the bobbin and top thread ends together under and behind the presser foot for the first 2-3 stitches of each seam.
My brother sewing machine wont come on
test the outlet is working ok, then test the power adaptor, ensure the light on the machine is on and try working your way up the cable incase the cable is broken, if there is no light on the adaptor but is g etting warm after a while then one can assume it is working but this is not a 100% test. if it stays cold it could be defective and needs replacing. if you have another adaptor of the same type try using that to see if the machine works. best is to take to a repair shop or send it back to Brother if it is still under garantee.
I hope this was useful.

How to put a spool backinto machine
If it isa top loader the thread goes in so it unthreaded clockwise. If bobbin goes in under the foot by removing the front arm panel slide then the thread goes into the bobbin holder so it unthreads by having thread go through the feed pulling up from your left hand side. This enables the tension to be balanced and not cause binding issues.
Adjust thread tension
Looking at a pic of this model, there are two dials on it. One near the top, one much closer to the needle. I believe the tension dial is the one that's close to the needle.
I don't quite understand what the problem is with the stitches from your description, but first try the tension dial. Reset it to zero and then try each setting, one by one, to see what happens.
If stitches are still wrong, a few things always to try when there are stitch problems. Clean well around the bobbin case, remove all lint. Do this often anyway, it's not good to let lint build up.
Try a new needle and a new spool of thread. Rethread the machine, a few times if need be. Try a new bobbin too, or wind a new bobbin to try from a new spool.
Try to get a manual for this machine. If Brother no longer has manuals, there are many sites that sell manuals for many machines. A manual can be your best friend when there are problems.
The bottom thread on my brother ls-2125 is too loose how do i fix it
The tension may be incorrect, or the upper tension mechanism might be worn or damaged. Have you tried it on all the tension settings ?
Things you should always try when there is a thread problem; make sure the bobbin case area is well cleaned out, lint can cause many problems; try putting in a new needle; try a new spool of thread. Try rethreading the whole thing, a few times if need be.
Check every thread guide to be sure none of them has a nick or rough spot on it that may be damaging thread as it passes by. Change needles often, they get dull and worn and can cause issues. Even a brand new needle may sometimes have a burr in the eye, which will abrade thread and cause a lot of problems. Always have a few new needles on hand to try.
If it's still bunching up underneath after trying all that, the upper tension setting might be too loose. Tighten it, one setting at a time and stitch, check to see if things improve. If there is no setting on the tension dial that will give you a nicely balanced stitch, then it may need a new tension mechanism.
Some machines can be really picky about thread, so using very cheap thread can cause a lot of problems. If you've bought cheap thread, it's not worth the money saved.. buy good thread instead. The cheap stuff might do for hand basting maybe.
Brother has an excellent service department, one of the best I've ever come across, if all else fails.
Replace fuse
Because of the noise it sounds like a motor problem! The fuse is in the mains plug and is easily replaced!

Is the thread caught in gear in top of machine causing it to bind. If you refilled bobbin did the gear switch back completely or you have lost an o ring in bobbin rewind.

You should be able to turn the hand wheel (on the right side of the machine) towards you and you should see the take up lever on the top left. It does not stick above the machine.

Check to make sure your dog feet are not down. If they are lowered the fabric will not move.
