Isuzu kb 250 CSD relay energises and prevents the fuel solenoid to open
If the CSD (Cold Start Device) relay in your Isuzu KB 250 is energizing and preventing the fuel solenoid from opening, it suggests there may be an issue with the cold start system. The cold start system is designed to assist in starting the engine in cold conditions by enriching the fuel mixture. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and address the issue:
- Check the CSD Relay:
- Ensure that the CSD relay is functioning properly. You may need to test the relay or replace it if necessary. A malfunctioning relay can prevent the normal operation of the cold start system.
- Inspect the Cold Start Device:
- The cold start device itself may be faulty. Inspect the device for any signs of damage or wear. If it's an electrical type, check for proper electrical connections.
- Examine Wiring and Connectors:
- Inspect the wiring and connectors associated with the CSD system. Look for loose connections, damaged wires, or corroded terminals. Repair or replace any damaged components.
- Test the Fuel Solenoid:
- Check the fuel solenoid to ensure it is working as intended. If the solenoid is not opening as it should, it could be a separate issue from the CSD relay. Test the solenoid independently to confirm its functionality.
- Check for Fault Codes:
- If your vehicle is equipped with an onboard diagnostics system, retrieve any fault codes that may provide additional information about the issue. A diagnostic tool compatible with your Isuzu KB 250 can help in this regard.
- Consult a Professional:
- If you're unable to identify the issue or if it requires specialized knowledge and equipment, consider consulting a professional mechanic or taking your vehicle to an authorized Isuzu service center for a thorough diagnosis and repair.
Remember to refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific procedures and specifications related to the cold start system in your Isuzu KB 250. It's crucial to address such issues promptly to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the vehicle.
Location speed sensor
Don't know about the particular model, but these are generally now located in each wheel hub facing a serrated section on the hub / bearing (same sensors as used for ABS).
Isuzu kb 300tdi 2003 4x4
If Haynes doesn't offer a repair manual for your vehicle, I would suggest you contact Izuzu themselves. Explain your problem. I'm sure they would assist you. Or your local Izuzu dealership.
Engine choking
Sounds as though you may have a fuel mix sensor or choke sensor going wonky. Don't know if it would set off any codes on a scanner. You might try though. Best of luck.

Location speed sensor
Speed sensor is the speedo drive/sensor in the rear extension housing of the gearbox/transmission.
What to find out where is the speed sensors located on the all new Isuzu KB 300 LX 2013 models
2013, this is a very tricky one for you my friend! If you speedo is already acting up on that newer a truck, my suggestion is, take it back to the dealer! Its still under warranty. Even if its not still warrantied, they have to prorate the work, because of the year. That is a factory defect. What i mean by prorate is! They have to charge you little or nothing at all for this issue, and ask a lot of questions. So you will know what to do when the warranty is out......
Removing front left rotor on isuzu oasis 98
Unless this rotor is unusual, you usually do the following:
1. Remove the wheel.
2. Remove the entire caliper w/ brake pads (usually 2 bolts, one at top and one at bottom. When you change the brake pads you only remove one of these bolts)
3. Remove the bracket that the caliper was mounted to. There are usually about 3 bolts, all on the back, that hold this on.
4. Slide the rotor off the lug bolts and get it machined, or buy a new one, and install in reverse order.
