The pick tint is caused by the backlights not going to full brightness. It is going to be either the back light tubes or the power supply/inverter board. Your monitor should still be under warranty with Acer so you need to contact them and get it serviced. The longer you wait the worse the tint will be until the monitor quits working all together.

How long have you owned the monitor and how long have you had this problem? Did you change any settings on your computer? Once I have more information I can assist you further. Do you have availability to another computer to try the monitor on that computer. Then you can isolate whether its a problem with the monitor or a problem with the video settings.

What video-card does your computer have?
Some older video-cards do not support "wide-screen" monitors.
Thus, they only "paint" 80% of the width of the screen.

If the monitor came with a drivers or profile disk, make sure to use that. Also, make sure the video card can run at that resolution. Check with the system or video card manufacturer.

You may want to post what kind of (a) system (for instance, "HP Pavilion D1321" (to make one up) ) and/or video card (from display properties - "Plug and play monitor on nVidia MX400") as well.

Usually there is a adjustment tool built in with your monitor who let you adjust this. You will be able to move it up-right-left-right along with a few other options about brightness/contrast, gamut and so on. Let me know if you still need help with this

it needs service, and service manuals are hard to find on anything by the likes of ACER. this projector worked for 12 long years, did you own it 12 or bought a bad projector, no history told as I can buy dead projectors all day long. and hard nut problems even hacking done. (tamper and overheating are 2) did you read owners manual page 32 yet, errors. That button can be set using the utility on your programs list

It maybe that you accidentally turned it off or set it to do some other task.

Start there first before re-installing the program that sets it.
That is on one of the cds that should have come with it and can be installed by itself.

I would try starting up and go straight into the BIOS. Set up your system and reboot.

This computer does not have Bluetooth capabilities and you can't make it, by adding a Bluetooth Driver.
