On newer tv's your remote has a button that says source. this is the equivalent of the old (input) button we're all used to. if you don't have the remote that came with your t.v you may have to buy one. or look for buttons on the side.

unfortunately the coby company has gone out of business probably because they have produced an inferior product that has had many problems, many people are posting problems with these sets. it is better you just purchase a different brand of tv and leave this heartache causing product behind.

could be many things, make sure nothing is around the tv that would block the receiving eye for the remote on the tv. sometimes the receiver in the set can go bad.

Go to options button and choose the screen size.

bought a coby tftv 2425, had a uverse remote that was set to my old zenith, it shut the tv off! The code is1357. It worked on both the sets I bought. Bettter to be lucky than talented!

Ur backlight IC inverter board is dead.Tries disconnectors & reconnectors the connections to the board see if it work?

Have you already removed the battery? There will be information on it telling you which battery to use as a replacement. As a general rule I would suggest you Don't start taking things apart if you are not sure what you are doing! You could cause more problems than you're trying to fix. Ask at your local TV repair shops and even some of the computer repairers. They may be able to help you. You would have to ask them directly if they have one in stock but commonly if it isn't a commonly used battery they will have to order one in for you. If you have the battery details you might be able to get one online.

If you don't have the code for your device, you can use the auto search method to find the correct code. Here are the steps: Turn on the device you want to program. Press and hold the Setup button on your remote until the LED light turns on. Press the device button (TV, DVD, CBL, etc.) for the device you want to program. Press the CH+ or CH- button repeatedly until the device turns off. Press the Power button to turn the device back on. If it turns on, the remote is programmed successfully. Otherwise, you need to search for the manual for the remote.
