Video review locked up. I cannot turn off machine
You know when you take off teh batteries the camera is switched off too. But if your camera comes on as soon as you replace the batteries, I think your on / off switch must be jammed. Or perhaps something els could cause a shortage in the camera, doing tehsame as pressing the on switch.

How to download pictures to computer?
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.

I've never known a motorcycle ride to be vibration free except on newly paved roads. It's likely something was shaken loose.

Did you make a directory on the card called System? It needs the capital S. Put both the files from the unzipped directory (C:/kodak probably) into the System directory on the card and boot the camcorder ensuring there's lots of life in the batteries. I just did it, from 1.02 to 1,06 too, and it worked a treat. The differences aren't huge but the audio is clearer now. Hope that helps.

There is a problem with the card and is coming up with errors and top of that there may be underline issues that are not obvious at this point with the camera. But it would be to your advantage to take it back to the store for exchange.

Can i retrieve a video
You cannot do this with the camera itself. However, you can use a card
reader to connect the memory card to your computer and use a program to
piece together the files, whose data are still present on the card
(providing you stopped taking photos, of course).
The best program to use is called
PhotoRec and you can
find it here. It's free, released under the GNU licence.
Save any files you recover to your computer... not to the card itself.

Micro sd card wont read
Check the SD card to see if the 'lock' is engaged. If so unlock and you'll be able to read. Other than that the other possibility is that your card isn't installed correctly. Remove it and check the pin orientation to be sure that it's installed correctly

Kodak ZX1 shuts off randomly every time while in
Your problem is likely due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can
prevent the full power of the batteries from
flowing into the camera.
Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and
wipe the camera contacts firmly with
a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush,
steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen
into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of
the batteries and place them back in the camera and give them a full
charge (assuming that you're using rechargeable batteries). This
cleaning clears
the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may be due for replacement, or the
camera may have
a problem that requires professional repair.
