The present Graphics DLLs are compatible with Designer 3.1 with OLE (dated May 28, 1992). If you are running an older version of Designer on the OWS and the drawing uses Designer fonts, displaying the drawing would give a protect violation from DCP by MGXLIB.DLL because the MGXFNT.DLL are not compatible.
You can replace the older version of the MGXFNT.DLL with a new one. To do this:
- Copy MGXFNT.JCI from the C:\FMS\BIN directory to designer libraries directory (MGXLIBS) and change the file extension to DLL (i.e., MGXFNT.DLL).
- By default, the MGXLIBS directory is located under C:\WINDOWS; however, you should copy the file in the same directory that is pointed to by the Libraries parameter in the Micrografx section of the WIN.INI (e.g., Libraries=C:\WINDOWS\MGXLIBS).
