i don't know how to get my webcam working on my emachines e520. Apparently i have to download something but i'm not sure what? My webcam is built in.
You will need adriver for the webcam. Go to this site: http://blogntech.com/download-acer-emachine-e520-xp-vista-driver.html There will be two lists of Web Camera drivers. The first is for WIndows XP, the second is for Vista. Install the driver for your operating system, and the webcam should work. I hope this helps, Yannick.

Bought brand new Acer emachine E525.
Cant get it to join my wireless network. says i need to turn the card on - how do i do that?
Some laptops have switches that you have to turn on manually in order ffor it to work look for a switch usually on bottom of the laptop under or near touchpad

Click on start menu then click on all programs then click crystal eye webcam

emachine E627-5583 does it have a built in micro phone? it has a web cam built in
The best way to check is to click on Start menu> right click on Computer/My Cpmputer> Properties> Device Manger and check if the webcam is listed in it. If it is listed then the computer has Web cam.

is emachine D725 has built in microphone???
Ye s the past eleven years they all do have a mic installed. Look for a very small hole surrounding the keyboard for it will be inside there

There is no Build in Mic in Both the models !

If you have changed operating systems since it last worked you may need to go to Acer Emachines support site and download the microphone driver for that operating system? If you haven't changed operating systems, let us know what you may have added since it last worked? If you did change operating systems let us know which one you are running and I'll be glad to link you right to the page that has the driver you need if it's available?
