Guitars cutting out
hi,
it seems that the problem lies on your amp, not on your brand new
guitars.( since it is brand new , like you said ).
but try having your unit , plugged on a different or other amp , just to
verify if it is really the amp.( not the one you have mentioned ).
if it is in the Amp, not on your Cable s and guitar then post the Model
and make of your fender amp and your PA system.
here is a trick , how to adjust to minimize distortion on all amps
you wish to connect.
a ) For Acoustic Guitar , Since it may have only one pick up (mostly )
try to set the Guitar Volume control about three o'clock ( near to full )
Then adjust amp gain to near maximum ( about 3 /4 of the total volume )
then have the Amp Main volume from a lower setting , adjust it further
if you wish to have a good and loud quality sound .
Adjust Bass and Treble at the center of the volume.
Same adjustment on the Electric Guitar .
Some Mixers have balanced and unbalance inputs.
If you are using a phone plug on both ( most usually do ) , then
check / replace the Cable you are using with a three conductor
wire inside the cable.( A good quality one , but it is not cheap ).
Settings will show distortion at high volumes when adjusted
improperly
If you need to know more details , and possible more solutions
then might as well post the units , Model and brand , how it is
connected , the Mixer, Guitar Cable , Phone plug you are using
so we can pinpoint exactly where you are having trouble..
Is it just your first time using the Mixer? or the New Unit or you
have other guitars?
Thanks in advance for choosing Fixya for assistance ,
