replace batteries,or there is a leak,you didnt say which bp machine it was so go here and find your machine to get the user manual for it, Microlife Manuals

You must contact your doctor right away for this fluxuation. If they are not open I would call a 24 hour clinic and make sure it is ok to wait until the next day.

Repeat measurement keeping arm still. If inflation of the cuff takes too long, the cuff is not correctly seated or the hose connection's not tight. Check connections and repeat

Did you try new batteries? please if so, try alkaline batteries, because rechargeable won't do as well. And zinc carbon won't work at all.

Probably less expensive to get new unit.
