Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.In the next small window go to the top/left, and under the subheading - Folder Tasks - click on - Extract all files.At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on -Next, Next, and Finish.In the last small window DOUBLE-click on the file to the LEFT -AA75-M1S_120330 - next to the red Adobe PDF icon.(The file on the Right is for BIOS information -AA75C-M1S_BIOS_120903 )There is the Motherboard Manual.The front of your computer is the Front Panel.The area of contact pins on the motherboard, that the main wires from the Front panel go to, is the Front Panel header.You are after the Front Panel header pinout.The actual manual page number, and the Adobe Reader PDF file page number; DO NOT match. When I refer to a page number it is for the Adobe Reader page number box at top.(To the right of the Down Arrow) Go to Page 6 - Motherboard LayoutPanel_1 represents the Front Panel header.Motherboard installed in computer case, (Processor to Top; Ram memory slots to the Right), there are EIGHT headers along the bottom of the motherboard.Starting on the LEFT side going towards the Right; the Front Panel header is the 7th header.(Or 2nd from the Right)Two rows of contact pins.Go to Page 15 - Detail Settings - PANEL1: Front Panel header[Click on the Zoom In icon ( + ) at the Top of the Adobe Reader, to increase the view size.Use the Zoom Out icon ( - ) to decrease the view size ]Starting on the LEFT side going towards the Right; TOP row,Pins 9, 10, NO pin 11, pins 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16.Starting on the LEFT side going towards the Right; Bottom row,Pins 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.(It is an 8. Whoever printed it out must have been on crack that day)TOP row;A) Pins 9 and 10 are N/C. Not ConnectedB) There is NO pin 11.C) Pins 12, 13, and 14 are for the Power On LED.(Light Emitting Diode, so I will not be stating -> Light. It IS a light)This is for a Power On LED that has THREE wires.Dual color Power On LED.Goes back to the day when there was Turbo, and Normal.(Usually a Green LED, and a Yellow LED.Green for Turbo mode, Yellow for Normal mode.Bunch of cr@p folks!The Turbo mode was the NORMAL mode. The Normal mode, is the computer is actually slowed down! lol! )If you have a Power On LED with 2 wires, connect the Positive ( + ) wire to Pin 13, and the Negative ( - ) wire to Pin 14.(I BELIEVE that's right. If not connect the Positive [ + ] wire to Pin 12, and the Negative [ - ] wire to Pin 14 )D) Pins 15 and 16 are for the Power On switch. (Power On button)E) Pins 1 through 4 are for an internal speaker. (Or 'buzzer')Pin 1 is for the Positive ( + ) wire, Pin 4 is for the Negative ( - ) wire.F) Pins 5 and 6 are for the HarDDrive activity LED.Pin 5 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.If the HDD LED is dim when the harddrive is active, switch the wires around.G) Pins 7 and 8 are for a Reset switch, IF a Reset switch is used.(I just press the CTRL, ALT, and DELete keys, AT THE SAME time, to restart the computer)Now you know where the individual wires connect.Remove the Front Panel. If I knew what old computer case it was, I MAY be able to guide you in removing it.Most of the time there are 3 TABS coming from the Front Panel, on the open computer case side.Look inside the open computer case, and at the inside/front near the opening of the computer case.One tab towards the Top, one towards the Middle, and the last tab towards the Bottom.The Tabs are plastic, and part of the plastic Front Panel. They go through small rectangular slots, in the metal framework of the computer case.They have a hooked end on one side.The Tabs need to be either pressed to the INSIDE, to bring the hooked end to the Middle of the slot, or pressed to the OUTSIDE.When the hooked end is in the middle, of the slot in the metal framework of the computer case, then the Front Panel can start to be removed.Start with the Bottom tab. Ease it over so the hooked end is in the middle, of the metal framework metal slot. Ease out on the bottom of the Front Panel, and hold it.Then ease the hooked end of the Middle tab over.The Front Panel should start to come off, and you should be able to let go of the bottom, of the Front Panel.When the Top tab is eased over, the Front Panel will either swing to the opposite side, or start coming straight off.Look at the wires going to the Front Panel.You should be able to determine which wires go to the Harddrive activity LED.There's two wires.Now look at the wires going to the Power On LED.The wires usually look as though they go right to that LED.From there it is just a process of elimination, and you know the last pair of twisted wires go to the Power On switch.It would be nice to have an inexpensive multimeter, right about now.They run about $5 to $12. Available at a multitude of stores.An auto parts store is just one example.I have seen them on checkout aisle racks, at major discount stores, too.Multimeter is set to OHM's. (1K)You check the wires that you think are the Power On switch wires.If you have the right ones, the reading on the multimeter will 'blip'.(The Power On switch is a Momentary Contact Switch.That is why the reading blips, and does not stay on)For additional questions please post in a Comment.Regards,joecoolvette
