Ask a local granite fabrication shop to get you some dishwasher mounting
clips. They look like a perforated disc of metal with a small nut
brazed to one side. They come with a short screw that attaches through
your dishwasher mounting tabs. Place your dishwasher where you want it
relative to the cabinets and pick a hole in the mounting tabs that won't
leave the clip protruding and attach the clip to the chosen hole. Use
masking tape on the top of your dishwasher door, wipe the bottom of the
granite and the top of the clip with acetone, then use a gel-type two
part epoxy from your local hardware store to attach the clip to the
granite. Use enough to make the epoxy push through the perforations in
the clip as this is how the epoxy grips the clip. Push the clip to the
bottom of the granite and close the dishwasher door, using a wood shim
or two between the top of the door and the mounting tab/clip to push the
clip tight to the granite. Pull the shims out once the epoxy has cured
(check the instructions on the epoxy).

Complaint: Long cycle
Hi there,
The long cycle times indicate a fault in either the water heater circuits or the timer.
I'm assuming from the model number you are in the US and therefore on a 120v supply. The heater is about 2000 watts, so a 10 amp draw is indicative of increased resistance (and therefore a fault) on a 120v system. If resistance through the coil (in ohms) in the water heater increases, the draw (in amps) will drop.
2000 (w) / 120 (v) = 16.7 amps
If you are using a 240 volt supply:
2000 (w) / 240 (v) = 8.3 amps
I suspect your water heater is failing. Either burning out or possibly shorting to earth. This is consistent with the symptoms of the fault, i.e. long cycle times but with evidence of heating. If there is a short to earth within the heater, it will still heat and draw current. A short to earth within the heater wont necessarily trip a breaker, but it will trip an RCD if you have one fitted.
You need to test for resistance (Ohms) between the hot/live and common/neutral terminals on the water heater. I'd also advise testing between the hot/live and earth terminals on the water heater. If you have continuity between hot and earth, the water heater has failed and needs to be replaced.
I'm assuming you have a multi-meter for conducting these tests? Please can you resistance test the water heater as described above and let me know the results. I also need to know whether you are on a 120v or 220-240v supply.
Please disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply before conducting electrical testing.

BElectric.

Sounds like your motor is burned out. The drain motor and wash motor are seperate on your machine. You can check for power going to the motor, but to do this you might have to pull the dishwasher out. While the cycle is running check for 120 VAC going into the motor. If you are getting power and nothing is happening, you will need to replace the motor, otherwise you will need to replace the motor control board located at the base of the machine.

Drain
Hi,
Welcome to FixYa.
It sounds like you may have a restriction in the drain hose. The other possibility is the pump itself. With Bosch units the pump can actually appear ok but in fact not moving the impeller. If you observe it after getting out the water you'll observe the motor running yet the impeller just sitting idle moving slightly back & forth.
Let me know if you are able to service this further on your own and I'll explain to you how.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)
