Have ge model 268/760 need

The right settings depend on the capacity of your softener and the hardness of your water before softening. If you know these, then you can program your softener with the right values. If you do not have a manual for the 268/760 you can download one from here:

Best of luck,

Lost water pressure on house

it is normal to loose pressure from the filter it must have very small holes in it for the water to pass threw so it can trap dirt and particales from both well and city water. it is normal for it to cut back on pressure, it will cut back more and more as it catches the things that you are filtering out. what you might want to do is filter your drinking water only, under your sink .dont try shower and outside faucets. and you wont have to replace it as often. well good luck and good day to you... sawdust46

Black smoke from the exsaust

air to fuel mixture is too rich . this could be due to carburettor adjustment , a faulty check valve sticking in the open position , a defective float or even the choke in the full close position . so take your time and check the things i have mentioned , one at a time .

No pressure from pressure washer

The "dump valve" inside the units pump, not engine is more than likly malfunctioning or bad. Try checking pump oil,buy 30 w pump oil and fill to line also ckeck black cone type turn knob marked +/- and turn to + for increase in pressure, also check water supply hose and if restricted ,unrestrict water line.
