When I froth the milk, it releases too much water and the milk tastes watery. The espresso tastes fine, so I think it is just a problem. It also makes a really high pitched noise when frothing.

I'm trying to replace the silicone O-ring, and not sure which way is up and which way is down. Both ways, it's still squirting water, though it seems to squirt less when the slotted side is against the basket and the round side against the pump. Any tips?
the steam is coming with thumping noise but its not a strong as it was before.
