Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator Questions & Answers
Black and decker air station will not turn on
- Take off the bottom(6 screws philips)look for a small glass fuse Marked F1 that is soldered in place.
- Cut this fuse out(cut as close to the fuse as possible)
- Replace fuse(1.25amp 250Volt) You can find on e-bay search by 1.25 amp) there is a fuse with the wire already attached on it....solder new fuse in place.
- If you dont want to wait to order the fust just solder a wire into the fuse area(you will have no surge protection but it may worth the risk because the frequncy this fuse keeps blowing.
Side Note: It may look like the fuse is O.K. but trust me its blown.
There are 2 compessor bellows keep in mind they don't both run at the same
time One is for AC the other for DC.
Black and decker air station not turning on
There's a small PCboard fuse (F1) inside. Remove the six phillps head screws from the bottom plate to expose the PC board. I'm not sure of the fuse size but I'd buy more than one. This seems to happen frequently with these units.
Hope this helps.
