RTO Central Pneumatic Gravity Feed Spray Gun 20 Oz. Questions & Answers
My gun is a Model 05726. It worked well for
I have the same gun, and had the same problem. Turns out the solution is the plastic airline between the gun and the paint cup (or in my case, the small hole in the upper fitting that this hose connects to). In this sprayer, because it isn't gravity feed, there is pressurized air fed from the gun into the paint cup. That pushes the paint from the cup into the gun. In other higher pressure systems that use a paint cup, the venturi pull of the air is sufficient to get the paint up the feed tube from the bottom of the cup and into the gun, but this gun specs a max air pressure of 10 PSI. In my case, I got a small amount of paint into the drip tube above the cup, and when it dried I had a clog there. To verify, pull the plastic hose from the top of your gun and also remove the paint cup. If you can't blow air through that tube, you won't be able to get any paint to the gun.
It has been so long since i used my spray gun i
The knob on the left of the gun is your fan adjustment. turn it back towards you and it will shoot a stream of paint, turn it forward and it will shoot in a fan patter. The knob at the bottom by the air inlet is your air pressure adjustment. The knob on the back is to remove the needle and spring.
Cheers!
The ram on my porta nailer is not returning
Remove the ram cover, using an old blunted nail carefully drive the pin back to the up position. Disassemble the gun and inspect both the drive pin and the rails for metal burrs file them off if necessary.
I need a head valve seat for central pneumatic 21 degree angle framing nailer model 60828 also need headvalve seat for 34 degree angle finish nailer 68020
I have not been able to purchase replacement parts for these nail guns , however, have repaired them using parts from Bostitch framers and or just make the part. If the seal fits over the top of the cylinder, then try using seal from Bostitch framer part #N70155 fits a bit tight but works. Heat with a hair dryer to soften and install. If the seat is incorporated within the head valve, just dig it out and replace it with liquid two part urethane. Just mix and pour it in. After cleaning out the old seal, place head valve on level surface and pour in the mixed urethane till slightly over full to give the seal a nice crown. The finish nailer might also be repaired using other brand of seals. Remove the old part and take it to service center for a possible match. Good luck with your repair.
What oil should I use in Handiair H8/25 Compressor?
Many air compressors use a mineral blend or a synthetic oil, such as synthetic hydrocarbon, polyol ester or polyglycol. It is important to use a lubricant specifically rated for air compressors; do not use a general-purpose motor oil used for automotive or other purposes.
