you can reset it ..also lift top and to the right of the printer you'll see a sponge ..use a syringe to suck the ink out of that sponge .. get this program http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml

try a head clean , you will find the head clean program in .. click open the start bar/go to control panel / open devices and printers/ look for your printer ( epson ) and now RIGHT click on your printer and go down to properties/look for the tab "maintenance" run the head cleaner ( you might have to do it a few times )
