my phone says inactive sim on my c905 but the sim works in other phones
Check your Band setting on your phone. 900mhz/1800mhz or 1900mhz/850mhz

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the sim card first because it might not be making good contact to the prongs. It's not the phone causing the ‘no network coverage’ issue, it's either the sim needs to be removed and wiped off with a soft cotton material and then reinserted or it's the network having problems itself. Also try the sim card in another phone. If it works, then the problem is with the handset. If the sim doesn't work in another handset then contact your network provider to get the sim replaced. If it is still under warranty you'll need to take it back where you purchased it from to get it repaired or replaced.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

i have forgotten my phone lock code for my c905 sony ericsson mobile phone, so i can't ever turn my phone off. Is there a way that i can retrieve it as otherwise i will have to send it to sony ericsson and will cost me £40 many thanks hope you can help

Has to be on, then in the menu-settings-security scroll down to master reset and confirm.

Hi,
I bought my sony ericsson c905, 3 weeks ago.
The WIFI used to be in function perfectly but recently it failed on me (eventhough the router is just in front of me and my other phone and laptop/pc can detect the network). Only the c905 phone cannot detect any networks and keep showing searching mode.
The problem occurred after i installed the PC suite for Sony Phone (the installer came with the phone) and transfer the files from C905 to my PC.
My sonyericsson c905 is not showing wifi. Plz help.

On the c905, it says "open the lens cover" when it is already open. how do fix that? Thank you.

c905 the screen display is reversed and upside down but otherwise perfect
I have a Sony Ericsson c905 phone and the screen is perfect, but upside down on all applications. Otherwise the phone operates normally. How can I fix this?

C905 wont turn on
1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.
