I don't know how far you have gone to find if the printer is installed in win7 but I have the same printer and it runs on win7 no problems. Make sure you can find the printer in the add devices program if it is there then win7 has found it. what does win7 ask when after reboot is it asking for the printer driver if so you will need to get one. If not you need to check device manager an make sure it is there form there you will need to find driver udate or rollback to the last install.cya. roger.

A driver is required to print to any printer.

Need a Black Cartridge. In a emergency, remove and shake vigorously, replace. Clean cart heads with Isopropyl Achohol.

Powering off the printer would make you think that it had reset the settings. Frequently what happens though is those settings stick until you actually unplug the printer from the wall outlet for about 30 seconds or so. Try unplugging the printer from the wall and the computer for about 30 seconds. Reseat the cartridge, then power the printer back on and see if that works.

If you have not yet solved this issue , advise if you are on a paralell cable or usb cable connection? If it is a paralell connection pull the cable out and check for a bent pin, if affirmative straighten it out with small thin head pliers. If usb check that the correct driver has been loaded on the virtual usb port. Good Luck Ed Pinero

are you refill your cartridge your self, or buy a new one?
if you refill it yourself or technician does it then the problem is wrong refill,
try replace with a new one or refill again with correct color.
if none of them is correct, try maintenance the print alignment.

It is possible that your printer does not meet the qualifications to run on Win7. Remember, Win 7 is a newer operating system and has it's own specific requirements. Check your printers system requirements and chances are, it is not compatible with Win7. You may need to purchase a newer printer.

For windows 7 you have to connect the system to internet use the option serch online for drivers when asked.

Reoder spare means that you have to replace the blinking toner with the new toner whether it's C,M,Y,K toner

This printer have a sensor to remind the user when using a wrong paper size.

If you still using a paper that not the same with your software settings, it's still reminds you.

I solve this promblem by after print my works I just press "Cancel Jobs" button to clear a data.
