No puedo encontrar error 53 en el manual de servicio... puedes revisar el codigo de error y volver a publicarlo?

Scan head driving mechanism faulty/broken, replace the part.

reseat connectors on the formatter and if that doesn't work replace it.

The HP guys says that the good solution is to download an updated firmware from their official website but it doesnt seem to work

if this printer support Mac operating than u can print from Mac otherwise not possible.

switch off the printer, then remove all cables connecting to the printer but just the power cable.
-then press and hold the *(start/symoble) and 5 button togather and turn on the printer.
-continue holding the button till you see "perment storage init" displayed and releas the button.
-then at a given point of time the printer will ask you to change laguage,time,date etc.
if this does not sort the issue service is required

so i think this work on your printer
