Just observed that while loading the catridge, memory reading mechanism has to engage with memory, if this mechanism broken, not moving or jammed result memory error msg.. most of the cases observed broken.

Send it back to HP service center if your printer is still under warranty. or send it to printer repair shop. I think there is nothing you can do to fix.

Empty its wastage and refill it.

Most noises on these models are caused by the cartridge. Typically fuser issues will cause a growling noise not a squeak. If the inside of the machine is dirty you could have toner on the transfer roller busings. Try a different cartridge first, you fastest and most likley problem.
