Very common! Did you change the battery yourself? This is why I always suggest people take their watches to a reputable watch repair shop! You would be paying for a battery and not a new crystal! :-) You should be able to take it to a shop and have it replaced...although rectangle crystals can be tricky to find for exact fit!

Unfortunately, Gossip watches are very poorly made and not intended to be serviced. However, a good watchmaker might be able to put it back together if you have the parts. Unfortunately, the watchmaker services will probably cost more than a new watch.

The only caveat I see is that many Gossip watches come with a 3-5 year warranty. There should have been a warranty card in the box when you got it. If not, QVC should be able to look up the warranty info for you. If not, go to JCPenny, Macy's or another retailer, open the box of one on display and copy down the warranty info.

Contact a local jeweler and see if they do restringing. Most will charge approx $10 per inch.

No manual, just this. You can however just search by the number of buttons, 2 , 4 or 4. They are all the same. Google 4 button chronograph watch manual
