I have the Moen shower/bath faucet seen in the attached picture. I know this sounds weird but I want the bath to run colder water. When I have the handle turned to max cold I feel a good shot of cold water but then after a few seconds it gets closer to room temp. I want it as cold as it can possibly be ideally. Aka the same as the water that comes out of those hose for example. My kitchen and bathroom sinks both get colder than the bath. Does anyone know of any ideas that may help me achieve this?

I replaced a moen 1222 with the same one, but after installation the shower head was dripping the water. Maybe the is a defect with the valve not with the cartridge.
