Cannot get it to talk to us in english.
Hi
Push and hold the menu button. When it changes in the window, use the up or down arrow button until you come to a window that has something like "lingua, or spreka", and then push the menu button again. Use the up arrow to scroll to "English". When you have the astric (*) in front of English push the menu button again. You have selected English and then you can push the escape button to exit. Some machines have exit in the scroll bar, so it depends on your machine.

Hi
Sounds like you have a blockage in you grind passage. Try removing the brew group. Then inside on the roof of the machine where the brew unit was setting there is a drop chute where the coffee is dropped into the brew unit. From the left side of the drop chute pull down and back, and it will drop coffee. This will clear an opening that relieves pressure on the passage. There is a passage inside the drop chute area that goes to the grinder. Vacuum it out. It will be on the right side of the drop chute.
Once that is cleared go to the bean hopper. There is a lever on the right side of the bean hopper. Push the lever back to the largest number. You can push the lever to a larger number any time but it has to be grinding to pull to a smaller number. Now replace everything and make your coffee. Once you have made your coffee you can pull back to a number that was higher than the one you had it on, but only when the grinder is running.

Water leaking from water tank
Hi
There is a seal on top of the machine under the water tank. To get to it, remove the water tank, and set aside. There is a large doughnut shaped cap on top of the machine. Slip a screwdriver on the outside edge of the cap and pry up gently. When it snaps up, go to the other side of the cap and do the same. There is a black seal in the center and if you stick your finger in the center and it lifts out it need to be replaced. Clean any residue inside the opening with a Q-tip.
When you get the new seal, it won’t slip in. Insert it at a slight angle (double lips down), then take your finger nail and run it around the bottom edge of the seal until it slips in, then push down. Snap the cap back on and your set to go.

Grinder not working
Hi
First off the grinder motors are 110V DC not AC. I would say that your problem is in the micro switch for the doser box under the solenoid. It sounds like it might be stuck closed and that would by pass the grinder saying the the doser box is full and don't run the grinder. You may just need a new micro switch which is specialized.

Hi
Are your coffee grinds wet? If they are you have a clogged brew head. Remove the filter screen. Then remove the 2 screws that hold the outlet manifold to the brew head. There are 3 things under the manifold. O-ring, tapered spring and a crystal ball. Don't lose any of these items. Now to clean the brew head turn the brew unit over to where you can see where the brew screen was. You will see 2 holes, 1 large and 1 small. Take a paper clip and straighten it. Turn the brew unit upside down and insert the paperclip into the small hole. Push the paper clip through and remove the plug. I have seen them over 1/2" long. Reassemble the brew unit crystal ball first, small end of the spring on top of the crystal ball, place the o-ring over the spring and place the manifold on top making sure the outlet pipe is to the outside of the brew unit. Put the 2 screws back and your ready to go. Run a detergent for espresso machines like Cafiza through the brew unit every once in a while to keep it clean. It doesn't take a lot of detergent and use the pre-grind setting and a large cup selection but don't put any coffee in.
Ground coffee Saeco Royal
Hi
thedalys. you probably have a bad micro switch on your doser. and that just needs to be replaced. If the grinder does not sense that the doser box is full it will keep grinding until it times out.
Guest. Try pulling the dosage lever back one click from the full and push your grind lever to the largest # and see if that helps. Sounds like you grinds are too fine and its clogging the the grind box. If the dosage level is too full it will cycle and dump the brew unit or break the brew drive gears, then you will hear a clicking noise when it trys to make a coffee.

Hi
Have you tried to descale your machine. Remember to use the correct descaling powder and make sure that it is totally dissolved before running the descale program. In the menu, make sure that your water hardness is set on 4. descale more often than not enough.
