mcdevito75 here, I hope you have a warantee with the watch, even if you don"t contact Luminox watch with this problem, Hold onto that broken piece off the watch. Problem is the case is 1 solid piece, the watch company will want to see the broken case and piece offf the watch, hopefully they might figire a defect in the case cause the piece to break off and replace the case for you for FREE, I doubt it BUT, you never know.

and you are right, you are basically buying a new watch as this model is made of plastic and cannot be 'polished'. Refurbishing it means that it will look new and everything on the outside would have to be replaced...good luck :)

No you don't have to wind this watch..it is a quartz movement powered by a battery...the only thing the crown is used for is resetting the time and date, you are probably thinking of a mechanical watch which is powered by a mainspring...:)

best bet is to contact luminox...i had to do it for mine. Even if it was a purchase from a third party, they may take care of it for free...

Grab the knurled edge of the bezel and turn counter clockwise. It only moves in one direction- to the left, counter clockwise.

The hand in question is slipping on the spindle that it is attached to. You need to carefully but firmly push it back down on the spindle so it moves. Have to get access to the dial and needles to do this

a mechanical part needs replacing, unless your have some form of funky split time running? replacing the battery should have reset it though.

take it to a watch maker for a quote and to see if the parts are available
