So my first question is: Have you shut the machine down, unplugged it from the wall, waited 30 minutes then, plug the machine back in, turn it on and listen for the ADF solenoids to cycle indicating it has calibrated and is functional? I know it sound like the old "ctrl-alt-del" used on pc's only more involved. Please try this and let me know the results.

If this doesn't do, check if your paper is of a compatible weight (GSM) Check your Machine for compatible paper specification and to know this you may read user manual or your machine. Then check your Paper Packet. If your paper is of a compatible weight, you should call authorized service engineer of your machine. If you find you were trying with a non-compatible type of paper, change to a compatible paper and if it still jams, something wrong with your machine is definite. Contact Authorized Service engineer in such a case.
