Hi, I've had a similar problem with this notebook. I've managed to bring it back to life by resetting it's BIOS. To do that you'll need to completely disassemble it and remove the CMOS battery from it for about a minute or so and then put it back. CMOS battery is located at the bottom of the motherboard, below the touchpad.

Start by taking out the battery. Even in off state that runs a slight current through the computer. Now... I can't guarantee that this will work, since the fluid is completely dried up but give it a shot. You need to get some isopropyle alcohol, can be bought in most pharmacies and a ton of q-tips. Juice is filled with fruit sugar, so that might be causing the problem. Either that or the fluid actually damaged some of the hardware. I would open the laptop as much as possible and start rubbing away with the q-tips slightly dipped in the alcohol. Remeber to replace the cap on the alcohol every time as it evaporates quite fast or use a glass to pour some in while you work. Once every single little part has been swapped, leave it to dry for at least 12 hours. Unassembled would be best. Then put it back together and see if it can reboot. If not some of the hardware has been damaged (most likely the motherboard) and then you would need to have said part replaced. No matter the age of the laptop, the fluid will void any potential warranty. A future advice: If you ever spill in you laptop again, turn if off right then and there, turn it upside down, take out the battery and power cable and start getting that liquid out with paper towels or something similar. The greatest threat are sugary fluids and power running through the hardware when fluids makes connections that wasn't ment to be there.

if it powers off as well it could meen its over heating check the fan is clear and running ok

You will need to contact Asus tech support as your unit is possibly still under warranty, its possible that it just needs a reset to factory defaults and they can best advise what to do next.

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Try going into sound select and test reinstall driver off Asus website..if you installed new windows or update drivers may not work right...see if you can roll back driver in device manager ..if not lookup your laptop model and reinstall...
