I am using parts from a pair of 15x70 binoculars to attempt to create right angle binocular telescope . I have been able to render an image that is horizontal in orientation , and I wish to bend the light path 90 degrees and turn it so that it is vertical. If I then can repeat this feat , I'm hoping to wind up with a binocular that will be easy to use. I have heard that porro abbe prisms , used singly , can render a horizontal image from a vertical one; however, I don't know if one of these prisms can take a horizontal image and turn it vertically. I would appreciate your expert opinion on this problem .
