What are the exact steps I need to take to use the film/slide adapter? The limited documentation that comes with the scanner is not much help. Yes I plugged in the alternate light source and yes I removed the white reflective shield to expose the film/slide light source, but the "film" selection is still light gray and I'm unable to select it.

Hello!
I have a Sharp AR-M208 copier with a built in scanner (AR-NS2). It usually works fabulously! I just bought a new computer - it is Windows 7/64 bit - so I am having compatibility issues setting up the network scanner utilities on Win7. (FYI: the CD-ROM I am using to set up the Scanner is meant for Winfows Version 1.4)
Any sugguestions? is there an updated disc? or can i set up a virtual PC?
