My Iomego Ego will not mount to my power mac G4. I've tried using the fire wire cable as well as the usb and neither worked. But when I plugged it up to my PC it mounted. I've gone through the internet searching for answers and a couple of people said it could be that its not receiving enough power. Can you help?

My iomega 100 does not read some of my disks. They opened and I was able to copy some files to them, but now I get the message that they are not formatted. What can I do to retrieve those files? I can access information on four of seven disks although they all worked originally.
