I've got a wall bracket for my monitor, but can't work out how to remove the built in stand. The only instructions in the manual are for attaching or removing the foot of the stand not the entire structure. There are four screws inside the 'neck' of the stand. I tried removing these, but it had no effect. The plastic housing was still securely fixed to the metal foot inside the moulding. Is it time to remove the case around the screen? Surely not!

I have a prolite E481S lcd monitor. I had a power outage and now my screen will not come on. I disconnected and reconnected with no change. The power button indicator light blinks on and off blue. Any ideas?
