I have to replace an Lg range(under two years old) because the thing is basically junk. The controls work sporadically, have replaced the circuit board three times, and now the enamel is flaking off the oven. Stove need to be free standing electric. I'm looking at Whirlpool Gold(GFE461LV) or KitchenAid Architect II Kers807S....I'm really worried about getting another problematic stove. What should I buy????

I have an electric Maytag range Model CRE8700ADE. It has served us well for 15 years but the oven no longer heats up to the desired temperature. When I set the temperature the digital display indicates that the temperature is rising and the digital display indicates that it reachs the set temperature but the temperature is well below the set amount. For example if I set the temperature for 350 degrees, the digital temperature indicator shows that it gets there but an oven thermometer shows that the temperature is actually 150 degrees. If I turn the setting up to 500 degrees the display indicates that the oven temperature rises to the set level but actually never gets above 225 degrees. My suspition is that the oven sensor is not functioning properly. What are your thoughts?
