I live in Asheville, NC 28704. Just bought a Dynex HDTV DX-L22-10A NOTE: This is different than the number below because it wasn't on the list and this was the closest one. When I did the setup scan, it only found 2 channels, 62.1 and 62.2. What's up with those numbers? I can't even get our local station. I have friends who get several channels. The TV owner's manual uses letters which I don't understand, like ATL AV1 Input, etc. and I had to choose one so I chose ATL. I don't have an outside antenna. I bought a flat thing that looks like wings. I think it's a POC. I can't put up an outdoor antenna, but is there a recommended indoor one that doesn't cost a fortune? I've re-scanned twice, and got the same 2 channels. I bought this new t.v. because I didn't have a digital t.v. and am trying to discontinue cable. What am I doing wrong? MT Do I need a converter box?

We bought a 32'' Dynex LCD flat screen TV 18 months ago...recently, when we try to turn it on, the ''please wait'' flashes on the screen, then the picture goes dark; meanwhile, the sound works just fine. There have been times when we do get the picture to come on, but the ratio of times when it works and the times that it doesn't is more than 2:1. What could be causing this?
