I have an RCA Model F32650 X-BOX ready model TV which stopped powering up. It only makes a very high pitch whine when plugged in. All of the posts I've read on FixYa said that this model was typically noted for the Flyback Transformer going bad. I ordered a replacement, spent hours unsoldering the old, and replacing the new. When I plugged it in, the whine was still there, and still no powerup. I used a flexible tube to try to find the source of the whine,and it seems to be coming from a small black cylindrical component about the center of the board. Any thoughts on what this part is? It is a little more shaped than a capacitor,and it makes a very unique noise, almost like a solenoid click/bounce when the power is disconnected and the whine ceases. Please let me know what to do next. I've already wasted the time and cost on the Flyback Transformer installation. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Curt
