my canon 18-55 IS lens cant autofocus- even when it is switched to AF mode. i would want to fix it myself since having it repaired would cost so much (as compared to the value of the lens)

on my Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 EF IS USM AF auto focus does not work on the 135mm for the close subjects (more then minimal focus range) it moves right left for 10-15 seconds, and then gives me a completely blur image. I have Canon 40D it happened...

Canon Extender EX 1.4x ii not autofocussing

i have an EOS 40D with a 100-400 is usm lens. I just traded in my original EX 1.4x for a new EX 1.4x ii on the understanding that it would autofocus this lens. But it doesn't. Any ideas??

My camera lense will not focus automatically or manually.

I keep having a dust spot on my pictures so afters lots of cleaning and trying it over and over, I found the dust but it is under the lens, I think I can just unscrew the 3 little screws and use my blower to remove it then replace the screws, but not...

Photos from my lens are fine in about 70% of the area, but in the bottom left corner and up to maybe 1/3 of the height and 1/3 of the way in towards the right the image is soft.

My 100-400mm lens will not auto focus when using with the Canon Extender EF2x. I was told you could cover one of the connections with a small piece of tape. Does anyone know which connection this is?
