Hi Since I bought my amplifier at Guitar center I've been hearing a hiss noise coming from it. It only occurs when I plug my guitar cable to it (tried different cables and guitars.) I of course never really noticed it in store since they always have loud terrible music coming from their radio station- probably why the salesmen had no idea there was a problem with it (thanks guitar center.) Anyway, I had tried a couple of different things like buying a hum x plugin. And then I found something out! When I touched the back metal square panel that says caution risk of electric shock do not open- the hiss went away and was replaced by a pleasant hum. So I think I have some free electricity running through the amp thats disturbing it- How do I ground it? Hire a short person to keep his hand on the metal panel- or is there something simplier?
