I have the Zenith Dehumidifier model number ZD309. Automatic shut off light is blinking but the tank is empty and the filter is clean. The unit will not turn on. (Same issue and model as homes835 Aug 12, 2009) Unit has been off a day, no ice in it.

I've installed a Venmar EA 1500 air exchanger, in place of an older Venmar exchanger, and reused the existing ductwork. The unit will run in recirculation mode (no air exchange), but in normal mode the unit continuously starts and stops in about 2 second intervals. I've checked the control wiring and all seams to be correct. Any thoughts?
