I just installed a Tripp-lite KVM, and one pc runs fine, but the other gets no monitor. I tried switching the cables, making sure they were secure, but it didn't help. Then I plugged the monitor directly in the cpu and still nothing. It was working before I put the KVM on. Any ideas?

I have a similar problem - I have two PCs attached to a Belkin Switch2 USB KVM and neither the mouse or keyboard is recognised at boot up. The work around is to unplug the KVM USB lead from the back of the PC that I want to use and then reconnect it. At this point the PC recognises the switch and the mouse and keyboard start to work. I have installed the latest drivers, installed the Switch2 software from the Belkin web site (which is really just a soft switch), but nothing has changed. To say it is a pile of **** is an understatement. Any help greatfully received.
