I just bought an Avion AV-DVR100 DVR. It seems pretty good except for one thing: the external a/v inputs will not recognize the signal from my Rogers cable box. It records fine from the RF signal, so it's useable. The a/v inputs work ok when I plug in the cable from my digital camera, so it's just the signal from the cable box. Anyone have this problem? All I can think of is the signal from the box is a bit lower than it should be. I can't check it without an oscilloscope, so I guess I'll never know.

I just got an AV-DVR100. I have connected the cables from my Directv box to the EXT1 input on the back of the DVR100. I have tried both "Monitor" mode and "TV" mode, but I get no picture from "EXT1". (I have tried hooking the cables directly from the satelite box to the TV, and the picture comes in just fine. So, I must not be setting something up correctly with the DVR100.) How do I get the Satelite to function as an input to the DVD100?
