I found a new ap500pf samsung 49600 btu split air floor standing unit for sale by private seller. I would like to know if this is unit is reliable, durable, efficient, etc. I could not find this unit for sale in any store so i am concerned it is a discontinued model and perhaps there's problems with the unit therefore it has been discontinued. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

We have a Vulcan Heater and York Refrigerated Airconditioner on a Comfort Control (Remote Control). When we turn it on to the cooling the fan in the heater goes on but the Aircon unit does not go on at all. We have tried resetting as per the manual, we have reset it in the Aircon unit, we have changed batteries in the remote control. Nothing is working. Can you help.
