we had pebble tech layed to the back yard and front walkway, the installer failed to mention how stained it would get if hard water got on it ( we had just bought the house and were not aware of the hard water we had) We now have pebble tech that is stained, and looks terrible. This was the worst investment we made. We have spent hundreds of dollars on cleaners and other chemicals to try and clen it up but nothing has worked. Is there any thing we can buy to help us with this problem?

Have had consistent problems with the valves in the little giant automatic waterers. They either stick and leak or, worse yet, don't allow any water out at all. Have had 5 go bad in the last 4 months. Have taken them out and cleaned them but it seems of be only a temporary fix. I have had this style of waterers in my barn since 1998 but have had nothing but problems with them for the past couple of years. Replaced them all in July and none have worked properly for more then 30 days at a time. I live in So Cal where it is somewhat warm in the summer (high 80's to low 90's) and where is seldom freezes. We have hard water but certainly not the sulfur or copper issues that cause piper corrosion seen in other parts of the country. I've figured out why the valve leaks, the small rubber washer gets moved up in the valve, but have no idea why the valve will not release water when it's pushed. Any suggestions will help. It's only an $8 part but if I need to replace 3 of them every 30 days or so that's almost $25 a month so I don't have to haul a hose in and out of barn stalls every day. Thanks for any tips you can give.
