well brought some polished floor tiles from B&Q, in cream, laid them and grouted them with black grout, unfortunately we were not told that these tiles had to be sealed, it looks like the tile is stained around the edges, and they wont come off now?

I have a 50+ year old Baldor Model 210, 1/6th HP, Polishing (Dental) Lathe. The power cord is rotting and I'm trying to replace it. I purchased a 16 gauge replacement cord. There are only 2 wires involved here as this older unit is not grounded and the original cord has a 2 bladed plug. Both wires from the power cord are soldered to contacts on the unit's switch. The black wire connects to the top part of the switch but the ''white'' wire connects on the bottom and I can barely see where it terminates much less reach it. I believe I need to remove, or at least loosen, the switch so I can turn it and get access to the lower connection. My problem is not knowing how to loosen the switch and not wanting to harm the unit trying. I already removed (via 2 screws)the ON/OFF plate/guard that fits around the toggle switch on the outside front of the unit but it did not affect the switches stability. I can't see any other hardware that holds the switch in place. What do I need to do to loosen the switch? Thank you MIG

I have an old advance whirlamatic uh s 20 buffer. I have just started buffing our church floors but I do not know much about it. I laid the buffer on it's back and the handle locked in the upright position and can't get it unlocked. There is a lever under the handle that has a cable attached to it that is broken. Is this the unlocking device and is it hard to fix.
