Fitted a fuel gauge to my Rocket 3 , all i get is that it is reading full all the time, any clues to why the gage could be faulty the flote not set right

gauge shows full all the time til the tank is almost empty and than shows 3/4 full check the floater or wire connected from the tank all thru to the gauge meter.might have some loosen parts...as well ...
dyna wide glide only show 3/4 when full fill all the way i can but only showing 3/4 on gauge Can be either the gauge or the electric floater inside the tank only 2 possibilities
