1998 kawasaki KDX 200 "kick" Questions

i can push start it been fine first kick it would start right up i went out to the shed today and went to kick it and it would not kick over ??? i took the plug out and cleaned it still nothing ?? ...

Any ideas on how to start a cold KDX 200 without kicking it 100+ times? In order to better help you with the bike, more info is needed... does it have good compression? does it have a good spark plug?
