2000 Harley Davidson XL 1200 C Sportster Custom "sporster wont start" Questions

...sporster died when going 70mph,let it cool down for a hour,it fired up ran a few minutes...then died...and now it wont start....turns over but wont hit a lick...could you help? sounds like bad ...
