2005 Gilera Runner VX 125 "belt" Questions

my 125cc scooter drive belt snapped so i replaced it and now it has very poor acceleration but then all of a sudden power kicks in an its fine but then when i slow down and then try to accelerate it ...

i snapped my drive belt on gilera runner vx 125, how do i change? how do i change my gilera runner drive belt? thanks alot take side casing off on engine then take variator off then change it
