I have a club cadet zero turn 48 inch mower. it runs fine but when I take the parking brake off it shuts down? sounds like a bad or disconnected safety switch.
Club cadet starts fine runs as long as I have my foot on the brake. As soon as I take my foot of engine dies. common problem relating to the safety switches and the relay to which they connect.
